Steve Hamilton

It’s obvious that Steve loves working with numbers, but what he prides himself on is bringing people-based focus to finance and leadership roles. In his more than 20 years in the industry, Steve has successfully built and led FP&A teams in various industries, including travel and real estate.

As Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis, Steve leads the forecasting and business planning of JPI and its investments. Responsible for all financial planning and reporting activities, he interfaces with nearly every function of JPI, tracking company performance and each project’s financial progress from pre-development through construction completion and sale.

With extensive experience in corporate finance, Steve brings versatile and engaging leadership to JPI’s FP&A team. He focuses on identifying and implementing process improvements and providing value-added analysis and strategic support to all areas of the company.

Motivated by team building and a unique people-based approach to finance, Steve inspires challenge and achievement across the organization. He enjoys supporting his employees’ goals, both personal and professional, and witnessing the advancement of their careers.

Steve grew up in Grand Junction, Colorado, and graduated from Baylor University with a BBA in Finance.

Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, snow skiing, and watching his son play baseball.
