Jim Cushnie

Vice President, Integrated Operating Model

Originally from a small town in the Northwest of England, Jim’s desire to travel and seek adventure has driven him from the start.

As Vice President of JPI’s Integrated Operating Model, Jim works across all departments to help establish frameworks, systems, and processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and performance, while often leveraging best practices from other industries.  His long-term focus is on enabling the growth ambitions of JPI and promoting a work environment that reflects the JPI culture.

Prior to JPI, Jim spent 28 years with Schlumberger, starting as a field engineer in the North Sea Oilfields of the United Kingdom and progressing through a variety of technical and management roles in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.

For his last 10 years with Schlumberger, Jim led the largest transformation program in the history of the company. The focus of the program was to raise performance and enable scaling of the business through empowering people, implementing systems, and reinforcing culture.

Through his whole career at Schlumberger and now at JPI, Jim takes great satisfaction from two things:

  1. Working with a diverse group of people, from almost every culture and country in the world.
  2. Seeing young associates learn, develop, and prosper.

Jim holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Sheffield, UK.

A proud father of three, Jim and his wife appreciate spending time with their family. Together they enjoy sports and traveling. Jim says being a dad is the best thing to ever happen to him.
