Irving, Texas (July 19, 2023) – JPI’s Blake Taylor, Senior Vice President and Regional development partner, has been named to Dallas Business Journal’s 2023 40 Under 40 Award honorees.

“I consider myself lucky every single day,” said Blake. “I get to come to work every day and not only do what I love but also do it alongside some of the brightest and most talented in the industry. We’ve had a few record-breaking years at JPI and it’s incredible to drive around the metroplex and see first-hand the impact that we are making. I’m thankful to have the opportunity to serve in this role and honored to have received this recognition.”

The award celebrates 40 North Texas men and women under the age of 40 who represent innovation and excellence in their fields, and who are making valuable contributions to our community.  Honorees will be celebrated at a special awards dinner on July 20 and will be featured in a special publication in print and online by the DBJ.

Blake joined JPI in 2014 and worked his way up from an entry-level position to his current senior leadership role. As Senior Vice President and Regional Development Partner, Blake is responsible for the execution of multifamily development for JPI’s Central Region, including overseeing development, capitalization, operations, and disposition of all multifamily developments in the Central Region. He is responsible for managing an expansive pipeline and portfolio of communities, including new growth opportunities in the DFW area.

“Blake has been instrumental in JPI’s recognition as the most active multifamily developer in DFW for 7 years running,” said Payton Mayes, chief executive officer of JPI. “As a leader, Blake is dedicated, humble, and manages by fact. He brings an intimate knowledge of the full lifecycle of the deal and remains hungry to grow in his industry knowledge.  We feel blessed to have him as one of our key leaders and look forward to seeing all he will continue to accomplish.”
