JPI Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for Jefferson Cenza

The new community brings 418 homes to revitalized Placentia, California

Placentia, California (November 30, 2023) – JPI, a national leader in the development of multifamily communities, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday to celebrate the official opening of Jefferson Cenza, a new 418-home community in Placentia, California.

Attended by state and local representatives, along with the JPI leadership and construction team members, the event commemorated the most recent ribbon cutting in a long line of properties that JPI has brought to Southern California. Specifically, the ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by: Missy Hubbell (Chief People Officer at JPI), Tina Lee (VP of Investment Management at JPI), Tony Mercado (Police Chaplain), Jason Dobine (Fire Chief), Ward Smith (Mayor of Placentia), Damien Arrula (City Administrator), a representative from Senator Umberg’s office, and many others.

The five-story, mixed-use, luxury multifamily development offers one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes as well as more than 8,200 square feet of retail space in an up-and-coming community on the edge of North Orange County.

“Placentia is an ideal location for people wanting a well-rounded community,” said Tina Lee, Vice President of Investment Management for JPI. “The area has undergone a major revitalization, and we’re proud that Jefferson Cenza has helped bring that to life. This community not only provides top-of-the-line housing, but easy access to all the amazing amenities around it.”

Placentia is undergoing a major revitalization, including revamping the Old Town area into a small-scale, walkable urban center that highlights Placentia’s historical and cultural diversity. Within walking distance of Old Town, Jefferson Cenza is helping to further enhance the City’s revitalization efforts.

“Jefferson Cenza is a testament to our City Council’s commitment to the ongoing growth of Placentia and revitalization of our Transit-Oriented Development District,” said Placentia Mayor Ward Smith. “This luxury, mixed-use development not only adds to our city’s housing options but also contributes to the economic growth of our community. We welcome Jefferson Cenza as a valuable addition to Placentia’s landscape.”

The community features a mix of the luxurious amenities that are standard to all Jefferson developments, including a rooftop terrace, a bicycle storage and repair room, electric vehicle charging stations, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a resort-style pool with cabanas, private courtyards, and more. Unit amenities include French doors, stainless steel appliances, full-sized washer and dryer units, quartz countertops, SMART home technology, and more.

Partners on Jefferson Cenza include TCA Architects (Architecture), APT Design Studio (Interior Design), Commercial Development Resources (Dry Utility Consultant), and Wood Partners (Property Management).
