This new community will bring 343 homes to Haltom City, TX in 2026
HALTOM CITY, Texas – November 20, 2024 – JPI, a leader in Class A multifamily development, has broken ground on Jefferson Drove, a new 343-unit, four-story garden-style community in Haltom City, Texas. This event featured remarks by Mayor An Tuong and JPI’s Chief Visionary Officer, Scott Turner, and included performances by the Haltom High School Band, along with participation from representatives of the Haltom City community, including Girl Scout Troop 2706 and city council members.
Strategically located at the intersection of Baker Boulevard and Hunting Hill Lane, Jefferson Drove offers convenient access to major employment hubs, retail outlets, and healthcare facilities across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Combining a prime location with vibrant community spaces, the development will deliver an ideal live-work-play environment for its future residents.
“At JPI, our mission is to create communities that enhance lives,” said Scott Turner, Chief Visionary Officer of JPI. “Jefferson Drove embodies our commitment to more than just building homes—it’s about delivering exceptional, affordable housing for those who are the backbone of our communities: teachers, healthcare workers, first responders and other essential employees. Caring for our community members is not only central to Haltom City’s values but also to JPI’s purpose, and we are thrilled to bring this vision to life through this meaningful partnership.”
In collaboration with the Haltom City Public Facility Corporation (PFC), 51% of the units will be reserved for households earning 80% of the Area Median Income, ensuring accessibility for a diverse range of residents. The community will feature state-of-the-art amenities, including a resort-style pool, fitness center, co-working spaces, and modern gathering areas. This development is JPI’s fifth workforce and attainable housing project, reflecting its ongoing dedication to fostering community-driven growth.
The first homes at Jefferson Drove are expected to be available for lease by Q2 2026.
