Sean Valentine

As Vice President of Development in JPI’s Western Region, Sean oversees development activities across Southern California, leading due diligence, entitlements, design, and execution. With extensive experience in multifamily, mixed-use, and hospitality projects, he has contributed to the development and construction of more than 14,000 units, representing a total value exceeding $3.5 billion.

Before joining JPI, Sean held senior leadership roles at top private real estate firms, including over 12 years spearheading development at the Irvine Company. Prior to his real estate career, he served for over 11 years on active duty as a Naval helicopter pilot, leading maritime missions and expeditions across all major theaters of operation.

Sean holds a Master’s degree from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor of Science from the U.S. Naval Academy.

An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoys swimming, golf, and surfing, as well as coaching youth soccer, flag football, and baseball.
