Chief People Officer
As JPI’s Chief People Officer, Missy develops and drives our People First strategy, attracting, growing, and retaining the best people in the markets we serve. She heads People Operations, Leadership Development, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Rewards/Recognition and Associate Engagement initiatives that align and support JPI’s Culture and Tradition. She serves as both a member and advisor to JPI’s executive leadership team.
In her role as JPI's Chief People Officer, Missy draws upon more than 25 years of successful leadership experience in organizational health, leadership development, human resources, and operations management across diverse industries.
Missy brings over 25 years of strategic leadership experience in organizational health, leadership development, human resources, and operations management in the real estate development, construction, financial services, consumer products, and hospitality industries. Before joining JPI's executive leadership team, Missy partnered with JPI’s leaders as a consultant, developing and executing strategic organization design and talent management initiatives with a focus on growth and development. Highlights of her previous experience include serving as Chief Operating Officer of the Americas region for Hudson Advisors, and in executive positions at GMAC ResCap and Coca-Cola Enterprises.
Missy earned an MBA with an Organization Development concentration from the University of Dallas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies from The University of the South.
Away from the office, Missy enjoys a good round of golf, and serving as the Treasurer for Play for PINK’s annual charity golf event. She is a lifelong member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Dallas, and has served roles as a board member and a Sunday school teacher. She delights in spending time with her twin boys and traveling with her husband, Walter.
