Ali Kassing

A passion for “dirt work” and people is what led Ali to JPI.

As Senior Counsel, Real Estate, Ali represents JPI in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of its projects nationwide. She has practiced all aspects of real estate law for more than a decade and most enjoys development work. Ali chose real estate law upon graduating from law school because of the tangible, lasting impact her work has on communities.

Ali graduated “with high distinction” from Indiana University with a B.A. in Political Science and earned her J.D., cum laude, from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Prior to joining JPI, she practiced at two Am Law 100 firms, where she represented private equity funds, financial institutions, developers, and other real estate clients across a wide range of asset classes.

Originally from Northwest Indiana just south of Chicago, Ali is a lifelong Chicago sports and Indiana Hoosier fan. Before moving to Texas, she lived and worked in downtown Chicago, and the Midwest continues to hold a special place in her heart. Outside the office, Ali enjoys spending time with her husband, two young daughters, and their dog. In her free time, she loves traveling, golfing, volunteering with animal rescue organizations, and finding new activities to do with her family and dog.
